With each program I learn more about the mechanics of podcasting. Working with digital audio is very different than analog, which was my vocation in a previous life. I am quite pleased with this presentation and, as always, amazed at the quality of independent music. Thank you for letting this DJ-turned-geek play some music for you!
Here the musical menu: Artist’s name – Song title – CD title (if available) – Artist’s home page.

Other than special features, it is unusual to hear independent music on commercial radio. How thankful I am the Internet is changing the way music is heard, distributed and purchased. I am thrilled that Indie Music Sampler is a part of the changing landscape. Here are six more great songs to wrap your ear lobes around … enjoy.

This episode of IMS is the like preface of a book before you get to chapter one. Unlike all the other episodes which are about the artists and their music, this one is about me and my motivations for doing the podcast. If you are just interested in the music, you’ll want to skip this one.
The theme music used for the podcast is from EL84 called You’re my only one. Check out their EP One World. http://www.el84rocks.com/
